Sonja Jordan was in my Outdoor/Landscape Photography class at Samford in the fall of 2019. By that time she had already completed her study and requirements for the Capstone and took the class for enrichment. Since that time she has shared several images with me. This one taken in Philadelphia illustrates a number of rules of composition we studied in the course. Additionally, the group of Canada Geese in the water give a sense of scale to the ship by allowing the viewer to easily judge the massive size of the ship.
